I lived in Moscow from 2012 to 2014. I would generally accompany Wendy through Red Square on her way to work at the Australian Embassy (where I often had casual employment). Mid-winter it could be minus 10 degrees or colder and the sun wouldn't rise until we were having morning tea.
The building on the right is the Historical Museum.
Resurrection Gate. This was knocked down by Stalin so he could get tanks into Red Square for military parades. It was rebuilt in 1995.
